Academies are established based on the energy sector market needs. Each academy is specialized in an industry to develop the right skills for required jobs. All academies offer English programs in the first year to set the base for the technical training official language. This done, employees enroll in the desired programs to develop the skill needed for specified jobs.
We have identified the industries where to provide training and create jobs for young Saudis. Accordingly, they can choose where to work and know exactly the type of job that they will handle from the following list of industries.
We are working unceasingly to establish additional institutes to cover other industries and to build training capacity for 42,000 participants by 2030 to help young Saudis acquire the necessary skills and qualifications to meet energy sector work standards. SPSP has been established to meet the needs of the Petroleum Services Industry and to support the Saudization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was founded by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Saudi Arabian Chevron.
ITQAN offers inspection training mainly to high school graduates to qualify them to work in the energy sector. It is located in Juaymah to train and qualify young Saudi’s in order to meet the market needs, contribute to community growth, help reduce unemployment and support the Kingdom’s workforce and nationalization efforts
Maharat Training and Employment Institute offers construction training mainly to high school graduates. The objectives of Maharat are to engage the province’s young people in specialized training programs, qualifying them for construction jobs so they can participate in advancing national development, contributing to the economic development of Jazan.
